Artist statement
Lake Tyrrell, May 2023
I love searching for abstract patterns in Lake Tyrrell. I want to lose myself here and capture this other-worldly landscape from above. Aerial abstracts remind me of the art of indigenous people. I feel Lake Tyrrell is a spiritual place and consider the Salt Lakes to be an open museum of nature’s art.
