Artist statement
Lake Tyrrell, May 2023. 
We are often searching for horizons to ground and orient ourselves. I enjoy including perceived horizons in my aerial images, constructed by the colours and textures in the landscape. They give balance and symmetry to the wonderful abstract patterns we see from above. On this visit, we were fortunate the water levels enabled the pinks to dominate giving an extra level of definition.
