Alison Ward is an Operating Theatre Nurse with over 30 years’ experience.

After experiencing a difficult period in her life, Alison realised how disconnected she had become from the world around her.

 

This marked the start of a personal healing journey and a growing fascination with the natural world. With a renewed sense of awareness, she picked up a camera and began capturing what she had once overlooked.

 

Encouraged by her partner Kurt, Alison quickly developed her skills and artistic perspective. Today, she is an award-winning photographer and founder of ALUSION Photography, a name that blends her own with the concept of illusion, reflecting how our past shapes the way we see.
